The Gold 20 showing is underlain primarily by Devonian Stikine Assemblage mafic volcanic rock.

A sample of limonitic limestone with pyrite and chalcopyrite assayed 1.17 per cent copper, 0.03 per cent lead, 0.05 per cent zinc and 10.2 grams per tonne silver (Sample 2112, Assessment Report 21008).

In 1989, Blue Gold Resources Ltd collected a total of 13 rock chip, 8 heavy mineral and 108 soil samples on the Gold 17-20. In 1990 Blue Gold collected 108 soil samples. Overstaking by Blue Gold may have led to sampling on tenures other that owned by Blue Gold. See Dundee (GLA) (104G 137) for further details.
